Our Aka•Demos for Adults / Parents program is an individualized, online learning experience designed to make Spanish accessible, meaningful, and rewarding at any stage of life. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who already understands basic Spanish, your program will be personalized and adapted to your level from the very first session. The first class is always evaluative, helping us understand your current skills, goals, and interests. From there, we create a customized plan that fits your pace and priorities — all through interactive, real-life lessons conducted online, one-on-one or in small groups (maximum of three students).
Program Overview
In this course, you’ll learn Spanish in ways that connect directly to your life. Every class focuses on practical communication — not memorization — so you can start using Spanish naturally and confidently from day one.
If you’re starting from scratch, you’ll begin with the essentials: greetings, introductions, family, and daily life. You’ll learn to express yourself in real conversations, recognize common phrases, and understand simple Spanish in daily situations such as shopping, dining, or travel.
If you already have some knowledge of Spanish, we’ll build on what you know — refining pronunciation, grammar, and fluency while introducing more advanced communication. You’ll practice expressing opinions, emotions, and experiences, and start understanding movies, podcasts, and articles that bring the language to life.
As you advance, you’ll learn to speak with ease and confidence in any context: at work, while traveling, during community events, or with family. You’ll master common idiomatic expressions and develop a natural flow that makes your Spanish sound authentic and spontaneous.
